Freight Policy

• All damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery to qualify for any freight claims.
• Customers are responsible for inspecting the product at the time of delivery. If there is visible damage or defects to the packaging, customers are advised to refuse the shipment.
• If customer accepts the shipment, customer must notate and provide the description of the damage on the freight bill (bill of lading).
• Concealed damage needs to be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Customers are responsible for opening all packaging, inspecting all product, and notifying us within the 48- hour window.
• Pictures of the damaged freight and/or item are required for all claims.
• If a shipment arrives missing items, contact us immediately. After 48 hours of receipt, we will not be responsible for missing items.

Return Policy

• Most unused items can be returned within 60 days of delivery.
• All returns need to be pre-approved with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
• All returns must be shipped back in manufacturer packaging.
• We will not accept returns on special order items.
• Returns are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee, and will be applied upon receipt and inspection of the item.
• Customer is responsible for all actual shipping costs and any other direct return cost.
• It is the responsibility of the customer to return the product in the same new/undamaged condition in which it was received. If a return product is received damaged in shipping, it will not be eligible for a credit. We are not responsible for items received with damage.
• Items that have been damaged due to weather will not be covered under manufacturer's warranty, and are not returnable at any time.
• The following items are not returnable at any time for any reason, if they have been installed or burned:
  - gas logs
  - gas burners
  - gas stoves
  - wood burning stoves
  - fireplaces
  - fireplace inserts
  - chimeneas
  - fire pits
  - grills
  - smokers
  - any other product associated with gas (natural or propane) or fire.

This is a liability issue, and we are not responsible for any items once they have been installed and/or burned. If the item is believed to be defective, we will be happy to assist you with the warranty process through the manufacturer to resolve the problem.

This warranty is applicable to the original owner only. In accordance with the warranty terms and conditions specified below.

Bromic Heating or its agent (the warrantor) will furnish the original owner for both commercial and residential applications;

1. a replacement Bromic Heating heater or
2. a replacement part for any component part which fails.

What’s better? Electric or Gas?

There are multiple benefits to each of these power sources. Ultimately, it’ll depend on the space that needs to be heated and what existing power sources are available.

What is radiant heat?

Radiant heat works like the sun. Instead of heating the air around you, it heats people and objects. This makes radiant heat a more effective heating source, as it is less likely to be affected by the wind.

Can the Bromic propane free-standing heaters be converted from propane to natural gas?

Yes. We do offer a conversion kit that allows the heater to be hooked up to a natural gas line.

Does the Tungsten Portable come with a cover?

The Tungsten Portable heater does not come with a cover, but we do recommend to order a cover to ensure the heater is protected from the elements when not in use.

What kind of gas tank can be used with the heater?

The Bromic Tungsten Portable can hold a standard 5 gallon propane tank or a 10 gallon propane tank.

What’s the difference between the Tungsten and Platinum collections?

There are a number of differences. First and foremost, they differ in their designs. While our Tungsten collection features a honeycomb mesh in front of the heat panels, our Platinum series is covered by a ceramic glass screen that is encased in a stainless-steel frame. The electric heaters in the collections also differ in the heat output. Our Tungsten series comes in 2000, 3000, 4000 and 6000W, while our Platinum Electric heaters are available in 2300 and 3400W.
